The Women’s Sports Foundation Gala

The Women’s Sports Foundation is a big proponent of Title IX, which advocates gender equality in sports.

For their 2008 fundraising dinner gala, we proposed this table-top calendar as an event favor. It features 12 successful female athletes who have greatly benefited from Title IX. The calendar is packaged in an envelope replicating bibs that athletes wear during competition. This favor would be placed on each guests’ place-setting and doubles as a place card using the space on the bottom of “the bib” to write in each guests’ name. For an additional touch, we suggested replacing straight up table numbers with photos of numbers that appear in sports, like a scoreboard or the front of a jersey.
