A Lavish Tea Party

“Garden Party” was the theme of this year’s gala for the Horticulture Society of New York. We accompanied our colleagues, event and floral design studio Chestnuts in the Tuileries, in creating a “Marie Antoinette” inspired table.

Each guest received a vintage tea cup favor packaged with flowering tea and a booklet of tidbits on tea etiquette. Favors were wrapped in boxes with beautiful brocade ribbons and awaited guests at their seats. We also created place settings adorned with menus fashioned from doilies and place cards made of live garden roses.
