Julie & Jake’s Wedding

Julie and Jake met through a series of fortuitous events, which inspired us to base their wedding event identity on the concept of time. Their New Year’s Eve nuptials are announced through this accordion folded invitation. Illustrious clocks and event information are silk-screened onto deep chocolate cover stock. The ceremony program followed this aesthetic with an accordion construction. Additionally, Mélangerie designed a delicate clock with a customized face to serve as the wedding cake topper.

Also featured here is a gift for Jake & Julie’s guests: a mix CD of the bride and groom’s favorite songs related to time. Other event details included New Year’s Resolution Cards that guests filled out and will have mailed back to them one year from the wedding date. A gift of hand-picked products from San Francisco (the wedding location) was placed in each guests’ hotel room along with a customized pocket-map noting the couple’s favorite restaurants and activities in the city.
